Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

Uhhh... Dehydrated blueberry?

Okay. It’s, uh...

...actually it’s probably exactly as good as it sounds.

[He shrugs.] I mean, they’re okay? I don’t like the sound of dehydrated bagels.

The "MREs" were pretty good when I tried them.

Those little military things in the storage? I wouldn'tve thought that.

I got one called "beef ravioli." [aka, the actual best one that military people fight over all the damn time]

Yeeeeeah, I guess instant ravioli is usually okay. You can get it really nice, like handmade or whatever, but the instant stuff is kinda like a childhood thing for a lot of people.

This stuff must be pretty close to what you eat back home, huh?

Some of it, yeah! I mean, obviously at home it would be real and not weird space versions. But, uh...a lot of this place seems kinda Earth-angled.
