Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

Though at some point during this chase it's less about the book and more about not giving up on catching this punk. ]

[Mokuba is full of energy and only a little shorter than her. This ain't his first rodeo, kid-who-is-older-than-him.

Oh look it's the library. Is he going to put it back on the shelf? No, he's decided to read whatever he grabbed. (Or at least make a play at reading it.) He looks positively surprised to see her doggedly still nipping at his heels! (No he doesn't.) But this look over the top of the book says 'yeeeeessssss?' in the most obnoxious tone a look can give.]

[ Honestly, that's probably the best way to deal with her. She ran away from home when she was like, 13, she hasn't had proper parental supervision in literal years. Marisa needs multiple babysitters. ]

[He's used to holographic technology somehow having the power to knock people around and cause bodily harm (somehow??? ygo explain), but he still leans back from them, looking skeptical as hell.]

I don't think they've stocked this library with any books of spells.

I don't need a grimoire, ze. I just use 'em like catalogs, not firing mechanisms.

[ although she does admit it looks pretty cool when Patchouli does it. She just can justify lugging around a bunch of books to do it herself. ]

So, I'll have to mark yet another instance of a universe where magic outwardly and blatantly exists. This is getting to be annoying. [How can he deny magic if it's all the hell around him now???]
