Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

It's- I think it's like a board game without the board. Rolling the dice lets you do something, so...

The fantasy creatures are the part that always confused me. [this Kickin Rad barbarian fighting an animal is offputting- wait a second, he points down into the book like he's discovered something] I just noticed something.

[Prompto's about to ask what Thomas means by "fantasy creatures" when most of what he's seen in that guide, if it doesn't exist on Eos, it certainly has a parallel--when Thomas points.]

Aww, I thought it'd be way bigger! That guy's not so bad. I mean, still not something I'd want to arm-wrestle, but he's not too scary.

So when you and your friends hunt, it's big game. [holy shit Prompto how are you still alive] Did they get you into it?

After the car broke down very mysteriously while someone, not naming names, was driving it.

[The look on Thomas's face is both a smile and a wince at the same time, somehow.]

And they made you come along to help them get the bounty on whatever it was. We've got that in town, except for fishing.

Oh, man. Fishing? Noct would've been all over that. Sometimes we had to do everything short of throwing cold water on him to get him up to do hunts when we needed 'em, but the guy could seriously do nothing but fish for days. I don't get it.

Hah! You know, you've got a point! Man, next time I complain about how boring it is to stand around and watch him duke it out with the river king, I'll think about that time we agreed to take out a catoblepas. What were we thinking?
