Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

No, I don't see a date, but...

[He continues. Staring.]

It's supposed to look like this?

Generally they are! They are made of oats, nuts, grains...sometimes dried fruits, and they are all compressed so it is easier to eat. And so it will keep for a long time.

It may look unappetizing, but they are usually very sweet if prepared properly.

Ah, I see now! So all of that is in this strange bar? Amazing. I guess it's much more than meets the eye!

In that case... [He starts opening the wrapper.] Perhaps I should try it!

[karappo]

Go for it! They exist for eating, after all!

[discalibur]

[He is, indeed, going for it!

And then he regrets it.]

...I suppose it's... good for a last resort.

[karappo]

[Ah...that isn't a good face.]

That bad?

Well... It is edible.

[...And that's about all he can say for it.]

Perhaps my palate is too refined for this...

[That gets a smile out of Karamatsu.]

That will probably make eating the rest of the food we have here a bit of a challenge...but at least that stuff attempts to be real meals, somewhat.

Ah yes, that's hardly up to standard either. But I will soldier on, I suppose. [I mean you literally don't have a choice.] I do miss Jiiya's cooking, though.

Ah, a friend of yours? Family member, perhaps?

[He misses Mommy- I mean Matsuyo's cooking himself.]

My butler. Although in a way he is like family.

[karappo]

Are you wealthy, Tsurugi-san?

[A butler...that's so fancy.]

Oh, no! I'm quite broke at the moment!

[........yep]

...Eh? Eh?

So how do you have a butler?

[discalibur]

Well, I assume he was hired back when my family still had their money. [He assumes because... that all happened before he can remember, so. You know.] And since then... he's been with me for so long, I suppose that his loyalty is just too great.

He even tried hiding my real financial situation from me.

[karappo]

Gosh...really? He sounds like a very good person, then. You are very fortunate to have him with you.

[discalibur]

Hah, yes, I am. [Even if boy he didn't always know it.] He's the only real family I have left, after all. I'd be lost without him!

[karappo]

[Oh that is...sad. He doesn't have any other family but his own butler? Sure, his own family might not be extremely well off, but at least they're all still together...]

Then, I am sure he is back home waiting for you to get out of this mess along with the rest of us.

[discalibur]

I don't doubt that he is! He worries a lot, though... I hope he's dealing with this alright.

[In all honesty Tsurugi suddenly disappearing would be enough to give the poor man a heart attack, he does not need this.]
