Good Morning, Champions. In the interest of maintaining healthy sleep patterns, a day/night cycle is in effect. Your presence is expected in the cafeteria in exactly one hour.

[The voice comes through not a large speaker, but through the device that's attached to each Champion's arm. Further investigation of the features of the device will reveal a list of profiles, a mini-map, and a list of rules. The hallways are shiny white and silver, with running lights along the floor and lights on the ceiling, and at the junction of the hallways is a sign with a knife and fork icon and an arrow pointing down the hall.

[He tenses a little, but, you know, she really doesn't look like a Niff. After a minute hesitation, he rises from the floor, idly brushing himself off.]

There aren't any guards or anything? Or soldiers patrolling? Nothing?

No, no, I just. I mean, waking up somewhere I don't know with this weird jumpsuit, I just kind of assumed.

Yeah, guess that makes sense... but right now, it really does look and feel like we're alone up here. Out here. Wherever here is.

They did say we're supposed to be in the cafeteria in an hour... you don't think it's just for breakfast, do you?

[but she has no clue where "they" are coming from, and it's grating her.]

Guess it was a stupid question. There's a whole part of this place we don't have access to. Have you looked at the map?

Uh-- no. I was trying to get a map to show up, so I could figure out how to go home? But I kept getting stuck on their stupid rules.

Mnnh, well, it's just a map of this place, not a map of how to get out. But here, let me see?

[He beckons her over.]

I'm pretty good with tech.

[newcycle]

[well, don't need to tell her twice, because.]

Oh, that's good. I only barely know how to drive, and even that took a bit.

Heh! My friends say I can't drive, but I can totally drive. Anyway, let's see here.

[He glances at her PIP, then fiddles with that little dial thingie on the side and hey presto, map.]

There we go! [He points.] 'You are here,' et cetera.

I'll just count on my friends to drive. I've got Naga in the meantime.

[anyway, she's looking at the map and-- well. He's right? There is a whole part of the map they don't have access to.]

What do you think is over there?

[That sounds familiar, but they have more pressing matters to attend to. Prompto folds his arms and shakes his head.]

I'mmmm not actually sure. Maybe, like, the control room for all those cameras in the halls? It could be anything, though.

[she frowns and-- pokes the screen.]

The cameras?

[now she glances back at him]

You didn't see them? Up near the ceilings. Pretty sure they're security cameras.
