Good Morning, Champions. In the interest of maintaining healthy sleep patterns, a day/night cycle is in effect. Your presence is expected in the cafeteria in exactly one hour.

[The voice comes through not a large speaker, but through the device that's attached to each Champion's arm. Further investigation of the features of the device will reveal a list of profiles, a mini-map, and a list of rules. The hallways are shiny white and silver, with running lights along the floor and lights on the ceiling, and at the junction of the hallways is a sign with a knife and fork icon and an arrow pointing down the hall.

[Hello Karamatsu there's a girl with blue hair just sort of. Hesitantly approaching, staring blatantly at how you're using your PIP. Someone hasn't got a clue how it works yet.]

There are girls here. This is a Fact. Girls that are talking to him, willingly. Just the sound of Lucina's voice makes his heart leap into his throat and stick there as he tightens his grip on his wrist, hoping that his smile looks somewhat less put upon when he actually turns to address her.]

Her eyes narrow at the admission of "information" about others, and herself, but then widen at the title.]

Champion Exalt? How...how is someone a champion of...[She shakes her head.] That - it is my portrait, and I do bear the Brand, but...I don't understand how I could be a Champion Exalt.

[You don't have room to talk girl at least your title is just one word.]

It sounds like a grand title to me! Exalt...to hold something or someone in very high regard...it would be rather fitting for a beautiful woman like yourself.

It's a fine title, but to be considered a Champion of it...that is nothing I considered possible. To be considered an Exalt alone is limited only to my family, and I would never consider myself the best of them...

[And, for some blessed reason, Karamatsu's complement goes completely over her head.]

[That's...probably for the best? At least she didn't take it badly.]

It seems like someone out there thinks differently of you, in that case. Perhaps they see more than you can see for yourself? You must have quite a lot of potential, at any rate.

[He shouldn't be talking this way about kidnappers.]

I would prefer these mysterious seers not see as much as they have to know as much.

[Seriously? Unless you're looking close enough, you can't tell that the Brand of the Exalt is in her left eye. It's kind of creepy.]

And that aside, I would argue the greatness of many a past Exalt over myself. I've done nothing of note. Not yet.

Hm...there must be some reasoning for it otherwise. There is also a possibility that they are simply incorrect, but...I would accept a positive title over a negative one.

[She'll lean over and look at it, reading it thoroughly, then looking at Karamatsu...then back at the title...then back at Karamatsu.]

...That's...also something that...I did not know someone could be the champion of.

[Wow, who thought of these titles, this is super rude.]

...You are also not glittering at the moment, so I would say it is fairly inaccurate.

With sequins, of course! They are sewn directly into the clothing. If done properly, they can really make an ensemble shine~

[What is a sequin, is it like a gemstone. Can you find them in the ground like diamonds.]

I'm afraid I've never heard of such a thing, but, I would be interested in seeing them if they appear.

It is alright! If I happen to somehow find my original clothing, or any sequins to be spoken of elsewhere, you will be the first I tell about them.

Essentially, they are very small pieces of plastic that are sewn into clothing. They are what causes the clothes to sparkle when they catch the light.

...I'm...sorry to ask, but...what is a "plastic"?

[Though this might take someone else off guard, Karamatsu doesn't miss a beat. Instead of saying "You don't know what plastic is?" he's immediately prepared to explain it to her, no questions asked.

Maybe it's because she's a girl that's also acknowledging his presence and talking to him with genuine curiosity, but still.]

Plastic is a...synthetic material, I suppose you would say? Which means it has been chemically created out of other substances. It is quite hard and flexible, durable enough to be used from building structures to clothing accessories!

[Oh bless you Karamatsu. She's essentially a font of questions at this point.]

And it is a common material in your realm? Enough to make these sequins and other things?
