Like- my friend Ruby! She can move at VERY high speeds in short bursts, and it. Kind of leaves a trail of rose petals for some reason? Or some members of the Schnee family can produce glyphs of energy that effect momentum and movement.

I know my father and Mister Ironwood will definitely be looking, but I don't know if they'll be able to look in space. I'm sure they could find a way if they knew they needed to, my father is VERY smart, but before I got here I didn't think space travel was even possible.

Yes, it must be very hard on Earth having so many people taken at once. Maybe they think it would be less likely to be noticed for some reason? Like- there are a lot more people than on other planets, so twenty-some people won't be missed as much? What's Earth's population like?

As far as we know, yes! They've existed almost as long as humans have. Though, um, they only fairly recently were recognized as legally having equal standing as humans.

The Vers Empire is a nation that was founded on Mars almost thirty years ago, by the colonists that settled there from Earth. There has been... a great deal of tension between the planets since then.
