[He could never take joy in it. Even when it was a selfish asshole like Diego, he never took any pleasure in condemning someone to death, to become complicit in the ending of a life. But none of that is on CT's shoulders. She deserves acknowledgement for doing this, when it feels forced and wrong and almost stupid. To hell with the mood, there's so little that's happened here that would make anyone feel better anyway.]

Noctis, I know you're doing everything you can to watch out for the rest of us, even if we think we're strong enough to not need it. If everyone had a heart like yours, we'd still have twenty-five of us here.
