[Five weeks in, and suddenly your numbers have been reduced by a lot. All evidence of Oda's methodical slaughter has been wiped away by the robots, but getting rid of the memories isn't going to be so easy. Not to mention the emotional scars.

Again on Sunday morning, you'll find yourselves with some new memories and some new items. Today, however, there are no new rooms.]

[Leon hadn't remembered his death yet, but Monokuma... That video...]

[No, that bear must have been lying. His cousin would probably be able to take on a bear in a fight, or get out alive. After all, she did work out a lot...]

[Here, Leon absentmindedly wanders into the exercise yard and finds...]

Touko?

[This is a weird place to find her. Leon was gonna try to go mess with the baseball equipment again, but maybe he should just... Talk to her.]

Mind if I sit next to you?

[Fukawa blinks and looks up. Ah-- Leon. She shakes her head. She gets it. He probably didn't expect to see her here. But she hadn't exactly known where to go either. At least she doesn't feel like she has to leave. She's... probably not in his way.]

It's fine.

[Well, Leon ain't Mondo, so he walks up to sit next to her.]

[There's a moment of awkward silence.]

Hey, mind if I ask you something?

... It doesn't have anything to do with Hope's Peak this time.

[That surprises her. She's not sure what he'd have to ask her but--]

Do you know if Kanon's okay?

Y'know, my cousin? I was getting worried about her.

Huh? Your cousin?

[Fukawa thinks about it. Based on the memories she has now, she shakes her head.]

I don't know. I'm not sure all my memories are back yet. But... I do know that Komaru and Master Byakuya are safe so...

[So it's possible she's doing just fine too.]

[Huh? He blinks a few times.]

Who's Komaru? And I thought Byakuya was already safe? I mean, you both got out of that mess...

Komaru is... my friend.

[It was important she said that first.]

She's Makoto's sister. But they were both in Towa City when... a lot of things happened. But it's fine. Because they're safe again.

Towa city...

You mean that place that was on the map a few weeks ago? For that "I'll blow your hometown up if you don't kill someone" motive?

[He was gonna call the place a dump, but after seeing what Junko did to the school and everything around it, he wasn't in a position to judge.]

[Her... well, she guesses it really is her home for right now.]

...it's funny. I didn't even recognize the place back then.

[Only the Monokuma everywhere.]

Yeah, I know how ya feel...

[He recognized the school... But not the world AROUND it. It all makes sense now, though.]

... I don't get it, though. Everyone's lost memories and they get them back in little chunks each week? Doesn't that sound weird to you?

The only thing I can think is that whatever they've done to us isn't working long term. Which means eventually we should have them all back.

... Is that even a good thing anymore? I think I have a feeling of what I'm gonna be remembering next week.

...for a lot of people it hasn't been. But who knows what happens if you survive this place. You'll change history. The others will certainly be surprised.

[But she wants to take him back to them. She can't do anything about her other classmates but this one-- maybe she can save this one. Having him freak out with her has well it didn't always help but. She never felt totally alone. And that was worth a lot.]

It won't be pleasant. None of Monokuma's executions are. But if you've made it this far, I'm sure you can handle it.

[He actually smirks at that notion. Him, somehow changing history with his mere presence. He was alive.]

Yeah... How bout that? Leon Kuwata, the ultimate survivor. I kinda like the sound of that...

[He doesn't wanna ask what it exactly is, but... He has a feeling that baseball had something to do with it.]

It didn't involve robots, did it?

[She genuinely hopes he can. Losing him now would actually feel... terrible.

But then he asks about "that" and she gets a little quieter.]

I mean... Monokuma's technically a robot so... kind of.
