[Five weeks in, and suddenly your numbers have been reduced by a lot. All evidence of Oda's methodical slaughter has been wiped away by the robots, but getting rid of the memories isn't going to be so easy. Not to mention the emotional scars.

Again on Sunday morning, you'll find yourselves with some new memories and some new items. Today, however, there are no new rooms.]

[Ugh. Every time she thinks she's okay for this she's just not. Why is she so bad at this...]

All the people who are up here are important to us. I'm sure... they'd be glad if they knew.

[Even the people she doesn't know... knowing how they connect to the people she cares about... their deaths mean something to her so.]

[ ... he's not so sure about Ardyn. He'd probably just be insulted or angry. But he owes it to a man who'd lost everything, even if that man had tried--and nearly succeeded--to take everything from Noctis. ]

Being remembered is probably the greatest compliment you can pay to the dead.

[Fukawa disappears for a minute. When she returns it's-- with a bent up license plate. Junko's. She looks hard at it, before putting it in it's place with the others. Even if it hangs a little funny now.

[ He watches her and... well, wouldn't anyone be curious? ]

[She doesn't mind-- at least, as much as she'll ever not mind, probably.]

Junko Enoshima... was the person responsible for the killings that happened at Hope's Peak.

I see why you beat up her name plate. [ ... ] What changed your mind about putting her up?

Honestly... because she'd probably hate it.

[Junko is probably the one person who wouldn't want something nice like this.]

She was so far gone with her "despair" that I don't think she knew how to want something better for herself.

Sounds pretty rough.

[ His voice is quiet, and he's thoughtful for a moment. ]

You think anything could've helped her?

I... don't know. But surviving this far changed me. Made me better.

[Something she hasn't acknowledged much until now.]

And part of that is thanks to her.

[ He's silent for a little while. He looks at all the names. At Mako, at Luna, at Ch- Elaine and his old man and all the people he's met and those he'll never meet.

And then he looks at Touko with a light smile.

Whenever you're in trouble, won't you stand by me? ]

For what it's worth? I'm pretty glad you're here.

[It hits her really hard-- the way all types of kindness do. She's quiet for a moment. And then...]

I thought this would just be Hope's Peak all over again. I'd just isolate myself in my own little world until it was all over.

...but I didn't do that. It all happened so fast. Before I realized it I was scared in a way I never felt before. It wasn't just one or two people... there's a whole lot of people here who scare me. Because they could be gone any day now.

[ He wonders if it'd be too much to say he's proud of her. He is, but... maybe he'll save that for later. ]

Hah... I get what you mean, yeah. Kind of thought I'd just spend my time sleeping or something. I'm the Champion Narcoleptic, after all.

[ He pauses. ]

I don't know if it's my memories, or something else, but all I want is for everyone to get out of this place alive. You. Max. Pyrrha, Mozu, Varric, everyone.

And I'm not gonna ever give up on that. Not until it's happened.

You still don't know what your title means?

[I mean, she never got it either, but she thought maybe it was something he'd understand at least. After all, the vampire girl's was almost a joke too.]

[Which is still almost as many classmates as she began with-- but she chooses not to point that out.]

If anyone can lead us out of here, it's probably you. [...] Not that I plan on sitting back either. I'm not sure what I can do yet, but I'm going to look for a way too.

Nah, I do. I used to fall asleep in the Regalia all the time. The guys used to tease me about it.

[ He gives an almost sheepish laugh and rubs at the back of his neck. ]

Hah, well, I'll... do my best. [ He holds out a hand, to shake. ] I'm counting on you, Touko.

[Oh my god were any of those titles serious? WERE THEY ALL JOKES??? Now she's even less sure of Erika's qualifications. Either way she shakes his hand and nods lightly.

However. Speaking of qualifications, she wants to clear something up.]

...it's not because of your status or anything like that. You just remind me of someone. [At least where it counts in this scenario.] You have faith in people, no matter how many times it's tested. And you don't give up, even though you've faced a lot of things that are painful.

If you wanted to talk to me just because of my status, I'd know.

[ Because he's seen it too many times. Classmates who wanted to get close to him just because he was the prince. The people here? He can tell they don't want to get to know him because he's a king. ]

This someone sounds pretty incredible, gotta admit.

[ He's teasing a little, but he's also genuinely curious. ]

[Fukawa laughs. It's soft but it's also... the first time she has in a long time. But she can't help it. It was very sudden.]

In a school full of people hand-picked for their incredible talents, the only thing "special" about him was his luck.

[But she's still smiling.]

Luck's nothing to shake your head at, though. Honestly, I'm pretty lucky myself. I've got a lot of friends I couldn't imagine my life without. Back home, and here.

No, I guess not. I could say the same. Even more now then I did before.

[She was grateful for Komaru, Byakuya, and Makoto. But that list seems almost funny now compared to the number of names she'd add to it now from this place.]

I know now that my friends back home are alright. So... now I can focus on what I need to do here.

If you ever felt comfortable with it, I bet some of the others would appreciate hearing that.

[ Especially now. The last few weeks have been rough. ]

[Having worried about that for a week without being able to bring herself to ask-- she's really glad to hear that.]

Good. Now that I'm one for one, my success rating is far superior to that idiot Hagakure's.

Hagakure, huh? Is that another one of your friends?

...you could say he's a co-worker, I guess.

[Nah Hagakure isn't getting friend status yet. If she makes it back home alive though.... maybe.]
