[The incentive this week was a pretty intense one. But spirits seemed high at yesterday's party - even Blaze Dudely participated, albeit in a weird, oblique and pretty Mozu-centric way. Maybe this Friday will be different from the last two?

Everything seems quiet, at least.]

[There are two notes here. One is longer, and the other seems to have been scribbled down on a scrap of paper.]

[The first reads:

Mako,
I think there’s a weakness in the license plate room that might help us get out, but I can’t figure it out by myself. Please don’t talk about this out loud (security cameras are always on) and meet me there at 12:30.

The second reads:

Got called out to the license plate room. Bad feeling about this.]

Dammit, kid.

[Varric lifted the note up higher. Anything to note about the handwriting on the first note? Was it hasty? Delicate?

Either way, he's folding it gently and putting it in his pocket, along with the dust covered strip.]

[The writing isn't special - not particularly rushed-looking, done in an even hand.]

In the meanwhile, he'll flip over both notes. Anything else to be found on the backs, or in the margins?]

[Nah. You've found all the evidence on Mako's body.]

He has no idea what these things do to the bodies so... after a moment of thought, Varric carefully extracts the scarf from Mako's body. It feels important somehow, if not in the investigation, then to Mako himself.

That done, he's gonna start looking through the rows of vegetation very meticulously. It's a great place to hide things, in all this dirt.]

[The room is a mess. It looks like a fight happened here. There's some kind of debris scattered all over the floor.]

Time to go kneel in front of that. Does it, by chance, look at all like the dust found on Mako?]

[There's shattered flowerpots all over, mostly towards the door. They were made of red ceramic.]

Anything caught up in them. Torn fabric or anything like that?]
