[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.

On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

[He nods, gesturing for Leon to sit on the ground alongside him and taking the guitar off, before demonstrating several hand positions and the accompanying notes.]

Those are the basics you'll need to know, first. [He then hands the guitar over to Leon completely.] Yo can give it a try now.

[He sits next to him and watches for a bit, and when it comes time to practice he attempts to mimic the hand positions... But he slips and accidentally strums an off-key note.]

Ugh, Damnit!

[He smiles reassuringly.] No one does well the first time. You've done pretty well so far. [He picks up one of Leon's hands and moves it back to the proper position.] It might work better if you adjust your grip as well.

[Mun knows nothing about playing guitar and is handwaving most of this.]

[This mun has no idea how guitars work either. Handwaving a bit...]

[A few minutes of practice later, Leon's starting to get a bit frustrated.]

Man... I thought this was gonna be easy.

It took me a long time to learn when I was just a-starting. Regular practice is important for this.

[He rubs the back of his neck.]

So... This didn't come naturally for you?

[He shakes his head.] Of course it didn't. My skill comes from repeated practice.

Oh... Right.

[As someone who was like a natural at baseball, he hadn't really seen much value in practicing. Like, he's been playing since he was a kid...]

... How long have you been practicing?

[silverguitarhero]

I've been playing since I was young, though I had less time when I was in the war.

[toomanybaseballs]

War?

[This is news.] What war?

The Korean War. I don't like to dwell much on it. [Sure, he learned to shoot then, but he doesn't regularly carry a gun or anything.]

[Leon never really paid too much attention in History class, so he's a little confused.]

Wait, Korean war? You mean when Korea split into two countries?

Indeed. Their South asked for aid from the United States Army, and their request was granted.

Huh...

[He thinks about it for a moment.]

What year did you come from? Just asking?
