first trial
[When the announcement sounds and the evidence gathered it’s time for a trial. When the remaining champions are all gathered by the repaired docking bay doors they slide slowly slide open.
There are two lines of robots, silent as sentries, creating a border path from the docking bay doors to the circle of metal podiums. The podiums themselves were made of strange metals in red and gold and orange and black, each one etched with the name of one of the Champions. There are flood lights - like spot lights - in front of each podium, but the lights in front of Shirou, Hamilton, and Albel are dark, and hung on the front of their podiums are greyscale portraits, printed from their profiles.
Blaze Dudely stands on a repair deck on top of his ship, which looms over the proceedings ominously. Rather than the glee the Champions may think he would take in this kind of display, he merely stands there with his arms crossed, expression unreadable and his cyborg eye scanning the Champions with a piercing scrutiny, like he's searching for one of them to act out of line.]
Mornin’, Champions. Here’s how this is goin’ to go: take the evidence ya found, piece together what happened and find who took out the Champion Swordsman. If ya find them, they’ll be dealt with. If ya don’t, they’ll be free to go and the rest of ya will face punishment. Take the time ya need but don’t bore me.

The Classic Murdergame Strip Search!
[Soma undoes the top of his jumpsuit, the way he did when he sparred with Akande, and skins it down to his waist. Other than the fact that he's shockingly pale and surprisingly free of any markings-- scars, moles, even freckles-- there's nothing suspicious.]

i mean she appreciates the show but]
Are we really doing this...

Would the women prefer to have another woman check them, for modesty's sake?

[POINTS... TO RICK... AND ODA...]
no subject
Okay, now he's embarrassed. And kinda sinking behind his podium a bit, muttering in Spanish.]

I mean, it's a good idea... I just think it's more of a last resort kinda thing, you know?

Soma, there's a time and a place for everything.
[Said with an eye roll and a bit of a smirk, but still.]
no subject
No.

I... didn't know we all agreed to do this. [Umm, it could be a little awkward.]
no subject
[Does she need to shield your eyes.]
no subject
I understand that we should check in case there are injuries, but... [here???]
no subject
We're not doing this. It's absurd.
no subject
If we're lucky, it won't have to come down to it.

Not leaving any stone unturned. I brought up the possibility of the killer being injured, it doesn't bother me to prove I'm not part of my own theory.
no subject
Well, at the very least you've proved that you're very likely innocent. Thank you for that much.

[ Look man yes she does have a camera here but she's not into whatever's going on here. ]

Oh, grow up.
[ She strips down to her underwear and turns from side to side. She may have a few bruises from sparring with Akande, but there are no visible scratches. ]
There. Happy?
no subject
Satisfied, yes. Happy, no.
[He's just going to stay down there for a bit holy shit.]
