the final week
[Eight weeks. Eight weeks of friendship and love, death and loss, hope and despair all muddled together in a cocktail that's too sweet on the tongue and leaves an acid-y pit in the stomach. With nine of them left (ten counting their dear but lone surviving host), things look darker than ever. Come Sunday morning the last of the Champions missing memories will be returned to them while they sleep. For some of them this will reveal answers, for others it might just be a fate worse than death. They could even be death.
But how does the song go? "It's always darkest before the dawn"?
There are no announcements from PAL this week. Not even morning and evening announcements.
Sunday Monday Tuesday
[ooc: Welcome to endgame, everyone! We're all very proud of you for making it all the way to the end. As you can see this is going to be a short IC week but we promise things will not be going down until this weekend (7/7-7/9). On Tuesday we'll be unveiling the OOC post for what to expect during the final investigation. There is no official AC this week, just a check-in and as mentioned above characters will be at their true canon points on Sunday morning.
Buckle up, kids, the ride's not over yet.]

[ She'd made them with the intention of everyone having something to hold onto if and when they went their separate ways. But now she very much doubts that going their separate ways is going to happen. So: ]
I was thinking... everyone seemed so happy to have them. So wouldn't it be even nicer to have something we'd all made together?

It wouldn't really be the same thing for here but... I think when we leave, it might be too easy to look back at all this and... forget there were times here we could be happy. I wanted us to make something together so we'd all remember that, no matter how bad it got or how hard things were, we managed to make each other happy somehow. So we'll remember that we can stand against anything, so long as we do it as a family.
... does that make sense?

But, perhaps sentimentality is not such a terrible thing in this case. I think that I could go along with something like that.

Well, that's at least two of us on board. Just nine more to go -- here!
[ handing over that box -- looks like it's full of coloured card stock. ]
I'll go back and grab the other one and then we can get started.

[ And off she goes!
There's already a big mess of craft supplies spread out across the table so just. set that box down wherever you can find some room, Arbys.
Yuuri eventually arrives with that last box and sets it down with a rattle of metal and wood -- so it's probably pencils. ]
There... this isn't too much, is it? I thought it'd be better to have some excess than to have to keep running up and downstairs but now it's all together, it's a bit...
