[Eight weeks. Eight weeks of friendship and love, death and loss, hope and despair all muddled together in a cocktail that's too sweet on the tongue and leaves an acid-y pit in the stomach. With nine of them left (ten counting their dear but lone surviving host), things look darker than ever. Come Sunday morning the last of the Champions missing memories will be returned to them while they sleep. For some of them this will reveal answers, for others it might just be a fate worse than death. They could even be death.

But how does the song go? "It's always darkest before the dawn"?

There are no announcements from PAL this week. Not even morning and evening announcements.

Sunday Monday Tuesday

[ooc: Welcome to endgame, everyone! We're all very proud of you for making it all the way to the end. As you can see this is going to be a short IC week but we promise things will not be going down until this weekend (7/7-7/9). On Tuesday we'll be unveiling the OOC post for what to expect during the final investigation. There is no official AC this week, just a check-in and as mentioned above characters will be at their true canon points on Sunday morning.

[He picks up a colored pencil and twirls it in his fingers.] What...are we doing?

You've never made a scrapbook before?

[ She says it with a little smile, clearly enjoying being the one in the know here. ]

Then again, calling it a scrapbook isn't really as impressive... when we made one of these back at home, we ended up calling it our graduation album. But we're not exactly at school, so I can't call it that...

[ She shrugs. ]

Whatever we're calling it. I was thinking about what I said about the bookmarks -- about them being keepsakes, remember? And I decided I wanted something a little bigger. Something all of us made together.

[ She pats the cover of the accounting book. Are you getting where she's coming from, Church? ]

What, you mean things grannies make? Scrapbooks? What, uh...I don't even know what people put in those.

It can be anything, really. Within reason, anyway. Everyone's going to be reading this.

[ so if you put a dickbutt in here and arianna sees it so help you church you'd better pick a god and pray ]

You can just write a message or you can make something or draw something... if we had a camera, we could take photos and fill it that way. That kind of thing. It's for memories, mostly. So no matter what happens after all this... it won't just be the bad parts we take away from here. We'll have something we can remember the good with.

...I mean, we already have our memories?

Unless we lose them again.

In which case we won't understand anything in the book anyway.

[ She cracks a slightly grim smile. Losing their memories again, huh... ]

We do, and I'm glad for that, at least. But... I've always been the kind of person who likes having things written down or having something tangible to hold onto. That's what I was hoping this could be. Not just for us but... everyone else, too.

[ after all -- they can't exactly take those memorials when they leave the Fantasy Sweet, can they? ]

[The most popular meaning for bluebells is humility or sometimes gratitude and constancy.]

...That's sweet, Yuuri. I uh...I have no idea what the fuck to add to it, but... [But at least he sits at the table and looks over the assortment.] What are you making? Just like...a bunch of little things for everyone? Or like, documenting your time here?

A little from column A, a little from column B. I thought about maybe doing portraits since we don't have a camera but... I'm not really a good enough artist for that.

[ That's some hastily scrapped evidence of that carefully dumped in the trash where no one will ever see it. ]

So instead, I thought I'd decorate a page in the book for everyone -- one for each person. And then people can put anything they'd like in there. A message, a drawing, something they'd made... really, anything.

How does that sound?

[Sounds like a middle school yearbook project is what he doesn't say because humility and gratitude.]

Might be a little...embarrassing for some people, but...yeah. Why not. I dig it. I'm not, uh...creative in that kind of way.
