[Eight weeks. Eight weeks of friendship and love, death and loss, hope and despair all muddled together in a cocktail that's too sweet on the tongue and leaves an acid-y pit in the stomach. With nine of them left (ten counting their dear but lone surviving host), things look darker than ever. Come Sunday morning the last of the Champions missing memories will be returned to them while they sleep. For some of them this will reveal answers, for others it might just be a fate worse than death. They could even be death.

But how does the song go? "It's always darkest before the dawn"?

There are no announcements from PAL this week. Not even morning and evening announcements.

[ooc: Welcome to endgame, everyone! We're all very proud of you for making it all the way to the end. As you can see this is going to be a short IC week but we promise things will not be going down until this weekend (7/7-7/9). On Tuesday we'll be unveiling the OOC post for what to expect during the final investigation. There is no official AC this week, just a check-in and as mentioned above characters will be at their true canon points on Sunday morning.

...... [Toast piece still in hand, she walks into the kitchen and stops to look around.

What is humming?]

[Just this blonde over here with sausage in one pan and more french toast happening in the other.

She's humming Ardyn's theme song, ftr.]

........ WHAT THE SHIT! [Piece of French toast is now on fire and being tossed on the floor.]

[And it isn't until she's about two steps away that she remembers throwing herself at the elementalist is not a good idea.]

[She backs away, hands held up.]

Queenie is supposed to be dead. Who the fuck are you?!

[She expected this from Ardyn, Yuuri... maybe Junpei. But not Nari. She flinches at the accusation.]

Jus... me? I don't know what I can tell ya that'll make you believe that.

[She keeps watching her, then reaches inside her top. Carefully, she pulls out....... A certain woman's wand.

What will this Queenie-poster do?]

[Her eyes go wide, hands coming up to her mouth and then- then... she holds out a hand, palm up, nonthreatening as she can.

She doesn't need to say the spell and her wand is eager to return to it's owner.

Will Nari let it go home?]

[She's not sure what's going on, but she feels something from the wand. So she lets it go to let it do what it would.]

[And it floats neatly over to settle in Queenie's hand and she lets out a slow sigh, shivering slightly at the feel of her wand finally at home. Finally here with her.]

[Watching the wand float over to Queenie is too much. Nari lets out a choked sob, tears flowing freely mere moments later as she walks over to the blond and hugs her tightly.]
