[For the first time in several weeks there is no new memorial in the garden. No new body in the morgue, no bloody mess for the roombas to clean. Choromatsu is still in need of time to heal and constant vigilance but he's alive. They're all alive for once on a Sunday and, even with the terrible realizations their returning memories may bring, there's a sense of hope for the first time in a long time.

There is no new floor this week.

For protection. She took it out of the gardening club's shed on the roof the during the first few weeks we were up there. We needed something to keep ourselves safe with when we were taking back the classrooms and the halls.

But, um-- at this point, I think it's almost like a habit. Sometimes she'll even forget she's carrying it and we'll have to remind her. She goes so red. Yuki-chan even asked her if she was thinking of marrying it at one point and, well. She didn't exactly say no.

Kurumi says it's something about making it part of her body so she can really master it... but I don't have to tell you that sounds like an excuse.
