[For the first time in several weeks there is no new memorial in the garden. No new body in the morgue, no bloody mess for the roombas to clean. Choromatsu is still in need of time to heal and constant vigilance but he's alive. They're all alive for once on a Sunday and, even with the terrible realizations their returning memories may bring, there's a sense of hope for the first time in a long time.

There is no new floor this week.

Well, nobody died. So nobody to put on trial. It's...actually it's really fucking weird, but we're all just kind of trying to take it in stride right now.

[...Okay, dumb basket aside, he moves over to Choromatsu and. ...awwwkardly puts an arm around his shoulders?? It's awkward for a couple seconds but then he pulls Choro against his side in a real half-hug.]

This place is made to wear us down. Every fucking week, every fucking death, every fucking little thing that goes wrong.

[ He's stiff and awkward himself at first... then loosens up when he's pulled into the half hug. And then the tears and his emotions, they all just sorta. Comes tumbling out of him. ]

I-I know... and that's why I couldn't take it anymore. Couldn't take another death, couldn't lose another friend...

But... but no one died! I-It was just me... being an idiot...

We were trying to prevent anyone else from dying, but that's never stopped anyone in the past. Especially since most of them were just fucked up accidents. Dude, we've already had people...we've already seen this happen. Maybe the reasons are ultimately different, but it's all because of this place being a god damn shitshow. They don't want anyone to survive; they don't want us all to be friends. They want us to turn on each other. They want a bloodbath. If they want drama, well, we've got it in fucking spades, but the rest? They're trying to tear us apart.

But for every one person that falls apart? We've got three more working their asses off to put 'em back together again.

Just don't do it again, man.

[ He sniffles a bit, listening to Church and then... wipes his eyes. ]

How's the, uh...arms? I'm not a medic, but Nari can't be hovering around you all the time.

They hurt. But they're getting better. Either that or I'm just getting used to it. Nari-san said I probably didn't damage them too bad... that she'll show me exercises when the stitches are out. Though... Queenie mentioned some lasting damages...?

...I mean, given you kinda almost died, I get a feeling that might be a given. Or at the very least you'll have some sick-ass scars. You can tell them a killer robot attacked you. I won't tell anyone otherwise.

I don't know... I think most people would probably guess what they're actually from.

I think most killer robots would strike elsewhere.

I mean...I've fought an army of Spanish-speaking robots that were so slow because the creator was a troll who decided to take exactly 24 hours to take over a beachfront. I'll give robots some creativity but not too many smarts. Which is weird. For a computer. I guess.
