[ She gives the pigeons a sidelong look, like she's trying to work out what kind of music they'd actually know. ]

Do you think they'd only know English songs? Or maybe someone bothered teaching them something in Japanese...

It's not like they speak the languages. They're still just birds, they coo. If you give 'em a melody, they should be able to know it. And besides, the karaoke machine is loaded with songs in other languages.

Hm, you've got a point... then maybe...

[ She gazes out at the flock of pigeons for a moment then hesitantly sings the first two lines of the first thing that comes to mind. And immediately, they all coo back the same melody. ]

... well, they at least learn fast, even if they don't actually know the song. But it sounds like they do!
