Well, that's better than nothing at least. [ and she's making a little note of that in her accounting book. Ardyn-san: Doesn't hate orchids, apparently. ] I can work with that.

[ she gives him a smile that looks... a bit cautious and distracted. not because of anything he's done but just in general, it looks like. ]

It's strange, isn't it? Having a Saturday like this.

It's certainly quieter. The break in routine seems one we all likely needed, overall.

[ She trails off but then actually bounces lightly on her heels. ]

I don't know. Refreshing? I'm still so worried about Choromatsu-kun but... I feel like I can handle it a bit better today.

[A small smile crossed Ardyn's face, as though for just a second he was trying a little harder to be something other than whoever had talked to Yuuri about siblings with bitter honesty.]

Hopefully, we can keep it up. Maybe it's a bit silly to get my hopes up like this... but I'd like to think we can take this chance and do something with it.

It's a bit early for optimism, but there is that slight possibility things may go better than we expect.

What's that saying... 'prepare for the worst, hope for the best'. Maybe we should set about doing that.

... though really, I'm not sure what could be 'the worst' in a place like this. Or it's more like I don't particularly want to imagine it.
