Junpei, I-- w--we need cloth, clothes, blankets anything -- I won't d--disturb anything if I take some, will I?

[Not after those letters, anyway. If it comes to the sort of thing that requires a proper investigation... that's pretty compelling evidence right there.

She needs a hug, but he hasn't switched fully over into boyfriend mode from investigator mode yet.]

[ She's having to lean against the doorframe for a moment to try and calm herself down. She's seen so many bodies these past few weeks, too damn many -- but the blood and the panic and the scrabbling to save someone and she's back in Megurigaoka with Megumi Sakura's blood on her hands, her school uniform.

A breath. Then another. There. Better.

She peels away from the door heads for the bed so she can start stripping it of blankets. ]

Can you see if there's anything in his closet? His spare clothes or-- or anything.

[To the closet. Anything interesting in there? Choromatsu's been wearing his kigurumi around a lot recently, that should be warm.]

Will his kigurumi work, Yuuri? Might be hard to get him into it, but if he needs to be warm...

That should be fine! We need to make sure he's warm and comfortable.

[ It's not like getting him into it is going to be any more awkward than undressing him already is. ]

[He comes over to hand it to her, pauses, then reaches for her hand to give it a brief squeeze.

He doesn't say anything. He can't promise Choromatsu will make it. But Junpei's here, and he'll continue to be here for her, whatever happens.]

[ She looks down at their joined hands for a moment like she doesn't know what to do in response -- she's still running on panic brain. But then she seems to relax, just a little, and squeezes his in return.

She doesn't quite manage to crack a smile yet but her expression, when she meets his gaze, is just a bit less grim and a touch warmer. ]

I... me and Nari will make sure he's okay. [ and even though it's Friday -- even though there'd been so much blood, she finds herself adding: ] I promise.
