[Even with three deaths two weeks in a row, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to some semblance of normalcy come Sunday morning. The messes are cleaned up, the bodies are safe in the morgue (or in Kip's case, still in a liquor bottle in the garden) and with this new week comes a fresh crop of returning memories.

There is no new floor this week.

[Laid against his chest like this she feels that chuckle as much as hears it and it's enough to make her breath catch and then rush out of her in relief. Oh... he's been hurting so much, so uncertain and upset all week. It's soft and small but it's enough to giver her hope. She squeezes him firmly, smiles and brushes the lightest of kisses against his throat, where she's nuzzled in against him.]

Not used to being cold or being cuddled?

Cold.

[At that kiss he relaxes a bit more.]

It's not as if I can't feel warm or cold usually, but it doesn't bother me as it would a human. It takes more extreme temperatures to make it an actual issue and that... hasn't really happened before.

Does temperature affect you less in your other form?

[He's awful comfy like this but she wouldn't mind if he needed to transform to be more comfortable.]

Or I could conjure some fire?

It should. [Because, y'know, he's much less fleshy in that form.] But it doesn't seem to be working right.

[Freaking sabotages, just here to make life hell.]

...I wouldn't say no to fire, though.

[Queenie smiles, shifts back just a little, enough to bring one of her hands between them. She cups her hand, the other moves over her upturned palm and then there's blue flames dancing in her hand, warm but not hot and she giggles softly as the flicker of the fire tickles her hand.]

...My, that really is amazing. [Flames like this. And just... creating them out of nowhere. He's seen her use magic, but that doesn't make it less... well... magical.] Thank you.

[She reaches for his hand with her free one, smiling and guiding his hand up, cupped like hers and pours the flames from her hand into his as though it were a liquid. It's pleasantly warm but not hot, when it moves it tickles, never enough to burn only enough to ease some heat into his fingers.]

's all pretty basic for me. [And now that he's the one holding the flames she looks up at him, watching the blue light highlight his features, struck again by how breathtaking he is.]

Heart, honey, I don't wanna make you uncomfortable, especially when we're finally gettin a little heat into ya but-

Well I-

[She rolls her eyes at herself, shakes her head slightly as though dismissing those half formed thoughts. And then she pushes up on her knees, reaching carefully over the space between them to press her lips to his, softly for a moment and if he doesn't push her away then a little more firmly.]
