[Even with three deaths two weeks in a row, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to some semblance of normalcy come Sunday morning. The messes are cleaned up, the bodies are safe in the morgue (or in Kip's case, still in a liquor bottle in the garden) and with this new week comes a fresh crop of returning memories.

There is no new floor this week.

They're already pretty communicative, anyway. I mean, for birds with brains the size of a pea. I know humans used to train pigeons as messengers, but I doubt those were as intelligent as these are.

I have to admit I'm impressed by them. They seem nearly as smart as a chocobo, with a better singing voice on top of that.

You know, they're smart enough to recognize people. Maybe we should train them to take messages back and forth. Never know when something like that could come in handy.
