[Even with three deaths two weeks in a row, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to some semblance of normalcy come Sunday morning. The messes are cleaned up, the bodies are safe in the morgue (or in Kip's case, still in a liquor bottle in the garden) and with this new week comes a fresh crop of returning memories.

There is no new floor this week.

[And then settles back down onto her heels and walks out the door, presumably to get changed.]

...What did I ever do to deserve these women, swear to god. [And Tex, if she's out there somewhere, is just going to have to #DealWithIt.

When Cece comes back out, Church is now leaning halfway out, elbows propped on the side and chin settled there on his hands.]

[Suffer.

Cece comes back within a few minutes as promised, sans hardlight and plus one shimmery silver bikini and an extra towel draped over her arm. There's a spring in her step as she crosses the room and slips into the water with a happy sigh.]

Uuuuuggggh, this is perfect.

Shorts out in water, huh? [Mmmm he is all a grin at her hot damn Nari is lucky.] See, even you need time to relax. Like there's a spa, but no masseuse? Gotta stick with the hot tub. Jets.

Mmhm. You'd think after developing hardlight technology that can conceal pretty much anything they'd figure out how to make it waterproof. [Jets, jets have taken the coveted spot of her best friend.] I haven't relaxed in two and a half months. I'm calling this a miracle.

Hot tubs are miracles. I hope whoever invented them won a prize. Though I guess you could probably trace it back to, what, like Greeks? Romans? Countrymen, lend me your ears?

[Snerk. With a snicker, she slides deeper into the water and settles comfortably.]

So...it's Sunday. [Memory day.] You feeling alright?

[motherfucking_ghost]

[Wow, you gotta ruin a good thing?] I mean...eh. 's better than last week, kind of. Last week was, uh, not good. This week's...more of a gradual suckage than being sucker punched in the solar plexus.

You ever have this sorta thing done to you, this like...retrograde amnesia bullshit?

Gradual suckage is better than a sucker punch at least. But you're doing okay for right now?

[She shakes her head, no.] As far as I know all my memories are all squared away and untouched.

[motherfucking_ghost]

Just need time and attention. Mostly attention. Pleeeease give this poor puppydog attention. [While he says it, he moves over and tucks in beside her, leaning against her like an aggressively affectionate cat.]

[theundertaker]

[She's rolling her eyes but at least she's smiling. When he slides up to her she laughs, wrapping her arm around his shoulders and sliding her hand into his hair to give his scalp a good scratch.]

Ohhh nooo, poor neglected Leonard Church.

Well I mean hey, you try being completely isolated for fourteen months. [Mmmmm, he's lapping up that scritching like said puppydog that needs attention.]

Fourteen months? [She stops, frowning at him in concern.] You were completely alone for that long?

[motherfucking_ghost]

Yeeeeeeeep. Might even be longer, who knows what the next memories will bring.

[theundertaker]

[Church, you are way too casual about this and doing her a Concern. But she also knows you're probably not going to talk about your feelings so you know what?
