week 6
[Even with three deaths two weeks in a row, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to some semblance of normalcy come Sunday morning. The messes are cleaned up, the bodies are safe in the morgue (or in Kip's case, still in a liquor bottle in the garden) and with this new week comes a fresh crop of returning memories.
There is no new floor this week.
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your activity for week 5, submit your memory regains and put in your threads for the Benefactors!]

I think 'm s'posed to be a mooncalf!? [Not that he'd have any idea what that is. She doesn't dare say that aloud though, not after what she'd snapped at him during the trial.
Instead she just tugs his head up by his hair so she can kiss him.]

And the Challah should be cool enough to tear into now. [Look, she made you wait.]

So obviously he's gonna cut himself a bit chunk of challah.] I don't know who else I'd be if I wasn't me, so it's a damn good thing I'm me, huh? In every charming way.

Not that she'd argue too much if he wanted to duck out of the kitchen.]
A damn good thing, mmmyes. [And while you're occupied cutting into the challah, Leonard? She's going to give your ass a quick little squeeze.]

And it's pheasant. [She lifts the lid of the stock pot to let the smell waft over to him more. It's sweet and savory all at once.] Used cider for the base.
[See the stew she can walk away from... the bread not so much. She pulls the towel off the second batch and punches it down, flouring the counter and rolling it out to knead. Most of the bread making process she actually does by hand, rather than by magic. It's something she has to feel.]

So do tell, what's the good news? We need as much of that as we can get.

[She means it as a joke but there's a flicker of pain in her expression. Roland. Such a small, careless comment and somehow it stings more than she intended.
She's just going to take that out on the dough, kneading a little rougher before drawing a knife and slicing the ball in half, then each piece into thirds so she can braid two loaves at once.]
Mmm... My sister and uh... her new boyfriend, not that either one of them will admit it. Well... Grindelwald is in MACUSA's custody now. My sister... saving the day~

[She plucks a small piece off his slice of challah and pops it in her mouth.]
As good a reason as any to celebrate with baked goods, I figure.
