Week 5

[As with the weeks before, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to something resembling normalcy with shocking efficiency. The second floor rest area and Adventure Zone Death Orb Room are spotless again, the demon glitter has been vacuumed, the deflated orbs have been replaced. It's like none of it ever happened, like three more friends aren't dead and stored away in the guest house morgue.

There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]

[Oh, it is. She's quick to run off to the kitchen, coming back with some tea and bread with raspberry jam.]

Have you done tattoos like this before? On other people, I mean.

[Good. She was hoping Yuuri was easy to please food wise.]

Nope. Today is my first time.

... I probably should've asked if that was the case before I went under the needle, shouldn't I?

[ CHOO CHOO, ONWARDS, THE BAD DECISION EXPRESS HAS NO BREAKS

She looks down as best she can, squinting at the linework. ]

... It looks nice so far, though. It's just what I wanted.

Guess I'm a natural. Lucky you.

Lucky me.

[ She downs the rest of that tea in a short gulp, like she's taking a swallow of something stronger instead. Then she sets it down with a little sigh and settles back into the seat. ]

Are we alright to carry on, you think?

If you are, I am.

[Let her just get prepped and all. Gloves back on, tips switched out, colors all lined up. Good.

Yuuri will find that this part is not as painful as the other needle tip. Nari gets so in to this that when she's done, she sits up and blinks.]

.... what time is it?

[It's been about three hours.......]

[serrata]

[ It's a bit of a relief -- not quite as sharp but still mighty uncomfortable. Especially when you're under the needle for a few hours.

She looks more than a little relieved when Nari pulls away and she squints down at the tattoo as best she can from how she's sat. ]

Oh, um... I'm not sure, actually. When did we start?

[ space is warped. time is bendable. ]

Uh... This morning that's for sure... I think we're past lunch time now.

[At least the tattoo looks good????]

Ah. We should probably get something to eat in a minute then.

[ She shakily sits herself up. ]

D--do you have a mirror or something so I can see...?

[everylittlesecret]

Uno momento, por favor.

[She grabs a mirror and holds it out for Yuuri.] Once you looked at it, I'll put some lotion on it and give you care instructions.

[serrata]

[ She looks a little nervous as she takes the mirror and angles it so she can peer at the tattoo. She has no doubt that Nari's done a wonderful job but she suddenly feels a little guilty. She'd jumped on the chance to get this done on sort of an impulse but now she's finding herself fretting in a very Japanese way about just what people are going to think.

But as she peers at the fanned petals inked across her skin, she finds the guilt fading and a little smile blossoming on her face. ]

It's so pretty. It's exactly like I was imagining. [ she redirects that smile up to Nari so she can beam at her. ] Thank you!

[Ahhhh! Okay, Nari is smiling pretty big now. She's so happy this turned out well!]

No problem. Thank you for letting me practice on someone other than myself. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
