Week 5
[As with the weeks before, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to something resembling normalcy with shocking efficiency. The second floor rest area and Adventure Zone Death Orb Room are spotless again, the demon glitter has been vacuumed, the deflated orbs have been replaced. It's like none of it ever happened, like three more friends aren't dead and stored away in the guest house morgue.
There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your activity for week 4, submit your memory regains and put in your threads for the Benefactors!]

[Junpei sits up properly. By now, he's recovered enough of himself to remember who he is, why he cares. How to care.
Cece's boss was just killed in cold blood, horribly, in front of all of them.]
Cece.
[He holds his left hand out to her. Get in here, Cee. You need a hug as bad as he does.]

I'm so sorry. [About your arm, about not trying to save Kip from his own stupid need to be a hero, everything.]
no subject
I'm sorry I couldn't--I should've pushed him, I wasn't thinking...
no subject
You tried though. I think-I think he'd have appreciated that.
no subject
Of course I tried. He... he was...
[He was one of us. Junpei breathes out and shakes his head.]
You should--you should stay with us. From now on.
[Instead of going back to that guest house all by herself.]
no subject
I...that sounds nice.
[She likes her room but being with company- being with friends sounds so much better.]

[Every boy here is trash, let's be real. Well, Heart's okay. If you ignore the supervillain thing.]

I, um, I stayed with Nari last night. I might-I might see if she's okay with me sharing a room with her. [Since Queenie is barricading herself in Kip's room.]
no subject
[Even now, it makes him smile a little.]
It's a bad time, but... congratulations.
no subject
Thanks. She's pretty great. [She pulls away and wipes away a few stray purple tears with the back of her hand.] I thought I should finally give this back to you. [She holds up the plaid she'd brought in with her.] I-I kept meaning to but things kept...happening and I'd get distracted and forget.

[It's weirdly good to see his dumb flannel shirt again. Even if it's full of bad memories, it's like reuniting with an old friend.]
For all the underwear I've gotten, I've still somehow managed to run out of actual shirts.
[And also that.]

[It hurts, to think it was just yesterday. But ignoring the pain won't make it ache any less, either.]

[Is it worth being clothed? He's not sure.]
All these rooms we can't use anymore...
[All these people they've lost.]

[He holds his shirt close to himself, two survivors of a game one year--or almost five thousand--years ago.]

[They're all worn thin, aren't they? There's no one who isn't threadbare.]
Is a token detective like a token bisexual?
