[As with the weeks before, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to something resembling normalcy with shocking efficiency. The second floor rest area and Adventure Zone Death Orb Room are spotless again, the demon glitter has been vacuumed, the deflated orbs have been replaced. It's like none of it ever happened, like three more friends aren't dead and stored away in the guest house morgue.

There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]

No, nothing like that. This isn't just a toy or anything either. It... Well, it all depends on if this is real or simply an imitation. But technically speaking, I suppose this would qualify as a weapon. Of sorts, anyway.

Well, to be precise, it's a... component. For it to have any use whatsoever, you would need two other things. A Driver... that is, a machine in the form of a belt. And secondly, a Shift Brace.

The basic use for this car would be to insert it into the Shift Brace, allowing it to act as a remote of sorts, to activate the Driver. It's this that allows someone to transform into a special armored form... a Kamen Rider.

[You know, that thing he mentioned at the meeting.]

There are other cars like this that are used after the transformation has already been completed. Those are used to grant specialized powers... Different attacks.

Oh. Shit. [It's a fucking magical girl transformation item for robots.] I, uh, guess it doesn't exactly bring back good memories if it's from your enemies. [aka humanity's good guys but who's counting]

Is he like your rival? You fight, but only because you're so ideologically opposed that you have to?

Yes, exactly. And I wouldn't have it any other way. He's determined, strong, and very honorable... An extraordinary human, really. I consider myself very fortunate to have an opponent as incredible as him.

I've never felt such joy as I do when I fight him.

[Heart... really likes the guy, if that wasn't clear.]

...I can't say I would be averse to spending more time with him. I find him fascinating, to be entirely honest. Though that's going to be the last thing on my mind when I return home. [He looks at the car he's holding again, though.] ...Well, at the very least I will have to return this to him.

[Even though he's admitted that he's not really... sure which one this is. Shut up.]
