[As with the weeks before, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to something resembling normalcy with shocking efficiency. The second floor rest area and Adventure Zone Death Orb Room are spotless again, the demon glitter has been vacuumed, the deflated orbs have been replaced. It's like none of it ever happened, like three more friends aren't dead and stored away in the guest house morgue.

There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]

Listen. They loved you. Then shit happened. And more shit happened. And gods happened. And circumstances wildly out of your control plus an unhealthy dose of propaganda made you into a martyr. You can't see the future. Everyone here knew you as you are. Emotionally stunted and a little unsettling. They didn't know you as the Chosen King. They didn't know there was a Chosen King. So laying it all on the table isn't going to make anyone here hate you. It's not a dramatic change we're talking about here. It's just context.

Anyway, you're the one that laid the foundation for any of us trusting you; you kinda did this to yourself.

Okay, so you were dealing with your memories versus what was inside you. Fuckface hasn't gotten any stronger since you've gotten here; you've just let your memories and anger let it take hold more.

And anyway, are you suggesting we'd want someone who's no threat at all? Pretty sure we'll take a threat lurking under the surface when we finally try and make a break for it.
