Week 5
[As with the weeks before, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to something resembling normalcy with shocking efficiency. The second floor rest area and Adventure Zone Death Orb Room are spotless again, the demon glitter has been vacuumed, the deflated orbs have been replaced. It's like none of it ever happened, like three more friends aren't dead and stored away in the guest house morgue.
There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your activity for week 4, submit your memory regains and put in your threads for the Benefactors!]

[ Wait. ]
...You think they can revive us!?

[He didn't really want to get into this so early, but! We can't always get what we want.]
I'm not... entirely sure that's a leap I want to make on so little information, but I do know that we are all carrying nanotechnology that is programmed to repair our wounds after our deaths.

[ That makes no sense. ]

[It really doesn't.]

[ They could... Do it again. Arrange things so people die in a different order. She could actually kill someone for Mikaela that time. Roland might end up killed instead. Maybe no one would be friends. It... It's a thought that has her going whiter than normal. ]

I...
I want to get all of us out of here. But I can't do it by myself, so... I have to rely on all of us to make it happen.

[ Sorry, she needs to distract herself. She'll take a deep breath. ]
...Thank you. For being honest.

But, uh, way more importantly, jesus fucking fucked up backpedaling christ, if our consciousnesses are just uploaded in a computer, along with our abilities and shit that can be swapped around at will, they could do this as often as they wanted.
It'd make us all AI, in a way.

Could AI do something like this?

[your world's fuckin weird brah]
Look, if, in theory, you could upload an entire actual and whole person into a computer, where you can read and rewrite and play with all their data, a computer powerful enough to store that kind of data, and the knowledge and know-how to read all that data? Which, at least four thousand years in the future, who the fuck knows if they do? I don't see why not.
Make some computer people play dollhouse and make them feel like they're real people. Sure. Swap out the codes for more intricate but still innate stuff. Done. Could be possible.

There's really no way to tell unless we can get outside it one way or another.
