Week 5
[As with the weeks before, life in the Fantasy Sweet returns to something resembling normalcy with shocking efficiency. The second floor rest area and Adventure Zone Death Orb Room are spotless again, the demon glitter has been vacuumed, the deflated orbs have been replaced. It's like none of it ever happened, like three more friends aren't dead and stored away in the guest house morgue.
There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your activity for week 4, submit your memory regains and put in your threads for the Benefactors!]

Right, right. So, just so I'm clear--you want revenge on your planet for wronging you, right? That whole system that made you what you are today?

Do you hate us, Ardyn?

Even with as few memories as I have, I'm willing to guess I've destroyed much more than a single room of people in the past centuries.

But I don't see that we have anything to do with that. I mean, even if PAL used it as a motive, would you believe him? That's dumb.

What happens then?

Is that something you believe?

I think... that people are selfish. Nobody chooses to do anything they don't ultimately want to do. Money, power, survival, love... it's human nature to want it all. Hell, I don't know. Maybe gods are the same way.
So we take, and we trample others in the process--and we get trampled, too, all trying to get what we want. So no one--no one can judge anyone else for the things they do, unless they're the ones getting their damned faces kicked in. And that's just revenge. Nothing noble about that.
So what I'm saying is, you already know what I think of your fucking planet's goddamn horseshit. And while I'm not exactly a fan of genocide, I like your rationale better than others I've heard.

I don't hate you, Junpei.

[Even though he's been more or less arguing from that assumption, the statement catches Junpei by surprise.]
Well. Great. Uh, because I don't hate you either. Which is the point I was trying to make, but with. Fewer words.

If I couldn't hate her, I can't hate you.

[What was it with these people and their refusal to just hate the ones that did horrible things to them in the first place?]
...I'm not asking you to forget anything. And if I'm right, none of you could actually be rid of me even if you tried. So I think myself a little different than who I assume you're talking about.

Besides, I don't have a knife or an incinerator. My options are a bit limited.
