...Oh. How'd a nobody get a voice changer set to his voice? Or--oh, shit, you're from different parts of your own timeline? You and Rhys?

As far as we can tell, yes. From when I remember, Hyperion -- the corporation both of us have worked for -- has yet to establish a foothold on Pandora. My employer and I were working on that. Yet in his time, Hyperion appears to be a ruling force, and has even managed to put a space station into orbit around the planet.

Wow. That's...gotta be years, then. Like, what, five? A decade maybe? Could've been worse, could've been hundreds of years off, but still.

I... couldn't tell you how long exactly, but... It is a considerable period of time, yes. At least five years.

And since you're corporate espionage-y type, I take it this Hyperion takeover isn't...good?

I'm... not sure, to be honest. It could go either way.

Even Rhys couldn't give you any insight into that, huh? Well...I mean, with that level of takeover, gotta hope it's a good sign instead of one of the coming apocalypse.

Rhys... doesn't know about me. No one does, really -- I was always meant to operate in secret. So there is... no real way of knowing what became of me.

Maybe you're still pulling a secret agent. Maybe you got out and changed identities for safety. [Maybe someone's watched too many movies.] Who knows what happened?

[Angel's laugh was almost bordering on the bitter. Such conclusions weren't hard to make, considering what little information she'd come out with. She only wished itwere that fantastical.]

I suppose we will have to see what our memories bring, won't we?

...Yeah, I guess...we might be missing more than just what we remembered over the weekend. Pretty, uh, concerning.

I can almost guarantee we are missing more than that. I still have at least four years to make up for, if we go by age.

Guess that's true. [If he ever figures out his own age shenanigans, he...doesn't know that he wants to, really! And Ardyn's got thousands of years of catchup to do...] Maybe we'll slowly remember a little more through the weeks? Like whatever gave us amnesia is wearing off? It was probably never meant to be permanent.

That seems likely, though whether or not it is intentional remains to be seen. It... could be a matter of amping up the drama. Maybe our memories are on a controlled release, all for the sake of the audience.

[It was sickening, just how much of their suffering was being used for views.]

God, sometimes I want to forget that people are watching. I mean, sometimes I do remember and then play it up for the cameras.

I'm pretty sure it's easier for us to just act like there aren't any cameras and be as normal as possible. No matter what.

I wish there was a way to know where the cameras were. To know where to avoid putting on a show. If we could somehow make this as boring as possible for the viewers, maybe we might be able to bring an end to this mess.
