[After a pause, he adds, holding up one hand:]

Hmmm, hard ta say since I ain't fought everybody, but ya can usually tell by how they act, y'know? Tough guys got a vibe to 'em.

If it's just the guys, I'm guessin' Ardyn-san's the strongest. He's a million years old which makes me think he'd be tough ta kill. Next is probably Roland-san. Ya saw his badass demon form, he could definitely fuck me up. [ He just loves the sound of that. ] After him we got Heart-kun. He's a robot and he fights pretty damn well, me an' him sparred a bit. Oh, and Larimer-chan, he sure as fuck ain't human, dunno if he's tougher than Heart but I'd kill ta see that fight.

The rest o' you guys are weaker than me. Finn-kun's a soldier but he and Church-chan are both trained in guns so there ain't much point to that. Takumi-kun's an interestin' one cause he's obviously strong but he's a kid so he ain't too tough. Then there's you, Legs and lastly Choro-kun. That kid's more likely ta cry that fight if ya ask me.

[Time to write this down and save it in the Files. The information is too important to preserve on a measly memo, even if it largely lines up with his own assumptions--though he's a little surprised Finn and Church are so low on the list.

Then again, they are human. Well, mostly. I mean, who knows with Church.]

And the girls? Come on, I already know Reno could wipe the floor with me.

[ Finn and Church have different reasons for being so low: Church can't throw a punch and Finn is so pure he wouldn't want to. His muscles are wasted on him. Wasted!! ]

The girls, eh? Well, yeah, Nari-chan's at the top, ain't no doubt about that. Mosta the girls are a little too young fer my taste so I don't know 'em as well. Besides her, we got Queenie-chan of course, but I can't say fer sure where she'd fall on a scale. She's tougher than she looks, but she don't got her magic so she's just a normal girl. Clarith-chan's too sad ta fight half the time and Arianna-chan's so damn pure she'd probably apologize to anybody she threw a punch at. Yuuri-chan... she prolly can't fight. Lee-chan definitely can't fight. And Angel-chan... [ He chuckles. ] Get this-- Angel-chan's afraid o' me! She might be the sanest girl here.

[Should he... aah, what's the harm? He glances up for a moment, then continues to talk as he writes.]

I mean, I scared her a couple weeks ago. And we already both know where I rank on the Scale of Intimidating.

[ "Try to" he says because he has certainly failed in that respect and has become involved in many "weak people" problems since getting wrapped up in Space Bachelor Hell. If it's any consolation, Junpei, Nishitani definitely scales you higher than Rhys in every possible respect. ]

Yeeeah, she's got a real "princess in a tower" vibe to 'er. When I pointed that out to 'er, she got all upset and started shakin' like a leaf. I told her it ain't even that big a deal-- Shitty parents ain't nothin' ta be ashamed of, but she looked about ready ta flip the fuck out so. [ He shrugs. ] That was that.

[Angel's certainly been cagey about her history, but that? That sounds more like a triggered response than what he'd consider anyone's reasonable discomfort with someone poking at her past.]
