[It takes a disturbingly short amount of time for the status quo to be restored. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

[ He's just so much more patient because it's Roland and getting to see him be awesome will be worth the wait. Even if it's, y'know, just bowling. ]

[Junpei's pretty average, really, but Roland just issued a challenge to the Challenger. For a moment, things seem to really line up for Junpei--perception, strength, and balance--and he lets her rip.

[As per the RNG, Junpei proceeds to throw a 5/3 (8), another strike (X), and a 5/1 (6) for his next three goes, which I don't know how to translate into bowling points.]

[ Six pins... okay, that takes him two shots to take it out. Then a strike the next turn, and... the final one is only one pin? Seriously? Junpei must be distracting him. (I, too, do not know bowling points.) ]

[ Flashing him a smile that may or may not be slightly more endeared than he does to most people. He likes Nishitani a lot, he's warmed up to him.

So he'll take his next ball and take out those pins like it's his mission. And it is a success! ]

[ Considering his next few attempts, hey, at least one includes a strike, so maybe he's not doing so bad. He'll continue looking at the points so far--he has no idea how this adds up or anything but he's just. Doing his best here. ]
