Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

Unless you're saying whatever you are translates to AI. Is that what you're saying? Let me know if that's what you're saying, cuz I feel that would be important to share with the rest of the class.

I could give you the long explanation, but the short version of it is that I'm a robot, yes. So I am very much aware of how easy it is to fake humanity.

Wow. Synthetic skin has come a long fucking way. The robot I know got stuck speaking nothing but Spanish and being the Red Team's mechanic.

And none of us understands Spanish.

...That seems horribly inefficient. And frustrating.

In any case, I think I've established well enough that looking human and being human aren't necessarily the same thing. My own age is very different from my appearance. I don't see why that couldn't be the case for others as well.

Ah, yes. It's somewhat of a complicated matter, I suppose, considering my mental age, the age of the person I copied, and my... shall we say chronological age. I don't entirely know exactly when I was created, so... all I can really say is I'm at least 15.

Wow, I'm about to get fucking offended here if people are gonna start calling me suspect. We got [he counts them off on his fingers while going through the profiles] AI, demon, Roidmude, forest spirit, half-Siren, and human-passing--which, spoilers, we all apparently are.

Maybe this shit's a lie to make drama. Maybe information got scrambled between dimensions. Who knows. But I am not suspect!

It bothers--yes it bothers me to be labeled as something I'm not. More importantly, it bothers me to be called suspect. Okay? I don't care what you are, or anything. I mean--I mean I kind of do, if what you are is, like, a psychotic murderer or something, and, look, all I know is humans, fluffy animals, and alien enemies, so if you're not human, that'll be weird. It'll be weird to me! But it'll be whatever, who gives a fuck, multiple fucking dimensions, I just resent some of the implication here.

You're misunderstanding what I mean, Church. I was saying that your profiles were suspect. We don't actually know if all of you aren't human.

Or if they're messing with our information. There's a number of inconsistencies. I have scars I shouldn't. So do a lot of other people, for example. It's strange.
