One character was the heir to a baking empire, but also a goddess who could SUPPOSEDLY bring people back from the dead - why would they mention she COULD but never SHOW it unless she was just acting - but also died like a total patsy for her evil fish adopted overlord great-grandma because of an computer tiara.

ANOTHER guy was supposed to be the ninth incarnation of a time-traveling alien who apparently blew up his whole planet - CONVENIENTLY taking away the ability to source any of his claims, right?

And then running the whole show was a guy who set fire to rival coffeeshops to keep them out of business and a guy who used to counterfeit art for side cash.
