[This weekend has brought about some unusual questions about your resident robotic Overseer, but unfortunately, you've also lost two more of your own to an accidental death.

You've done your best with the star charts, but if anyone is coming to help you, there is no sign of it yet. SIS remains the only friendly face here, even as you've found that she holds her own secrets. Meanwhile, yet another new floor has opened up - the elevators are in perfect working order now, if any of you care to go and see it. That's four concourses now; one for each of your groups. There's an awful lot of dead, aren't there?]

...When I first spoke to her, she said there hadn't been anyone around for some time, except for you and the rest of us. She was lonely, so I told her that we would be around for some time, at least to keep her company.

I can appreciate a treat like that. If you need any help, I'd be happy to lend you a hand.

Hmm... I do have a couple memories of things like that as well. Memories that don't really add up anywhere.

[It was a longshot even in the simulation, but Pyrrha's grown determined to check out whatever technology places this spaceport had to offer in search of a charging device for her Scroll. She thanked whoever designed the Scrolls to have such a long battery life.

She's a little caught up in the gadget of hers. So much so that she almost doesn't notice Bride of Ruri and stumbles over it, experience making sure she keeps her balance. But she's quickly stuffing it back into the brown jacket she's wearing.]

Aren't you even just a little bit curious what other people see in me? Cuz it's not just a handsome face and a stunning personality.

...I guess. Hard to throw wild dumb parties in an airport, feels like. Hmm...

...Jesus. How did you even remember and transcribe it all?

...Maybe one of the concourses has one.

[Junpei's words are still ringing in her ears, that she's shoving her world view onto others like it's the only one, that she's being a know-it-all. That she needs to stop. And Xander is a victim of that. But she wants so badly to not let his faith in her be misguided.]

[Thursdays are always a nerve-wracking day, aren't they? For myriad bullshit reasons. And while Jane has been plugging away at Lil' Sebastian all week, she needs...a break. A day to breathe and collect her thoughts, to do something she actually knows how to do in order to sort out everything else.

Jane is going to bake today.

She's up early in the garden, carefully picking various fruits and depositing them into a Cancer Nebula tote bag. The larger, heavier fruits like apples go first, then the berries and smaller things so nothing gets crushed or bruised. You might catch her checking the quality of the produce or peering at the galaxy pigeons, looking at each with thoughtful care. She ought to name one Arnault, right? But which one...

From the late morning into the afternoon, Jane has commandeered the Bar 'n Grill to make her creations: pies! They're mostly little personal pies that are made in muffin tins, but each one is filled with a different fruit! There's apple, blueberry, strawberry, cherry...a lot of cherry, actually, perhaps as a subtle "fuck you" to the diner's cherry pies. Hers are better, obviously. While she works, the change in her demeanor is palatable; while Jane is still tired and still nervous, she seems more at peace in her element.

The pies will be left out in the Bar 'n Grill if you want any, with a sign indicating Jane made them and what's in each, but if you want her at any time in the afternoon and evening, she's back in room 11 working on Lil' Sebastian.]
