[When Jane wakes up in the morning, the burden of another frightening, heavy week settles over her. A dodgeball game, seeing a lighter side to the two men running their experiment - it's gay as hell, Jane realizes, and she chides her past self for not picking up on their obvious flirting - an excellent prank, more forging of friendships between herself and a pair of twintailed girls, jello in odd shapes with a woman who wielded magic she despised, and another body. Another ruthless killer, but not one hiding in the unwilling. And more of the mysterious Champion that she cannot parse from the fog of memories...

It's difficult for Jane to go back to sleep after all of that. After reliving the fear and stress again, you don't really want to shut your eyes and find more of it. And besides, she didn't eat much yesterday or the day of the trial. She's hungry, and taking care of herself will at least alleviate some of the malaise hanging over her head.

So after picking out a new outfit from Moonglow and taking a shower, Jane decides to stick around in Flavortown, chewing her bottom lip in thought as she looks at the ingredients in stock. Pretty soon the smell of something hearty and spicy emerges from the kitchen, and if you take a look, you'll see her preparing a huge, huge pot of gumbo. Why? Well, it's warm and savory and filling, and it pairs well with rice, and this kitchen is chock full of the herbs and spices Jane can use to make it flavoriffic. Plus, all the prep work gives her something to do with her hands, and nobody can tell her she can't sample anything while she cooks. Her city now!

While there's downtime during the cooking process, Jane decides to try her luck at the gacha, and...it's not a completely terrible haul? The "Model Time Machine" is going with the conspicuous giant bottle of lube she and Arianna put in the corner, though - no one needs this. And while she grimaces at the box of Gushers, she...doesn't move to throw it away. Detestable as they are, there may be a use for them yet.

Later, Jane puts up signs all over the mall to let people know that there's gumbo and rice in Flavortown if anyone wants it, but she's going to check out that shiny new southern wing. Prisim in particular catches her attention, as she stares for a long while at the landscapes before sighing and pilfering some watercolor supplies. The two shapes she makes are generally rough and unsure, and are joined by other things - happy faces of the friends she loves back home, the more serious faces of the people she's beginning to remember - and overall the quality is...not good. But for some reason, doing this, surrounded by all the art, is calming.]
