...Mm? [ He'd been starting to think he should head back for the night, gathering up leftover miso and putting away his sketchbook, when he... hears that ... Okay, time to investigate. The metallic sound makes him think Stronk so he heads there... ]

You? Looking out for others? [He seems kind of surprised about that] Leaving aside your title, you didn't seem to me the type to care about anyone. You even said so when we first met.

[ Here you go Arianna, one bowl of miso soup, with a spoon in case you don't want to drink it. ] We make this back home. It's made with a paste called miso, and I put some tofu and seaweed in it too.

That's what my friends told me, but it... I still did it. I killed a girl. Her... her weapons were swords attached to metal wires, and there was a moment where I saw so many of them flying at me, and... I panicked.

[It doesn't take long to find to source. Indeed, it is Stronk, and through the window Choro can see the leg weight machine- those metal plates do tend to make a loud clank if lowered too fast.

And Xander is there,fiddling with it curiously. Though Choromatsu can only see his back.

His bare back, as he's just wearing sweatpants. Just viable as he bends over to adjusts the weights is a small puckered scar through the shoulder]

[Fukawa quickly sets aside her writing only to look up and see he's handing her something. She doesn't question just what it is until it's sitting in her hand. A... cellphone?]

Ding. Her eyes widen and she suddenly becomes really excited about what must seem the silliest thing.]

If it works, then does that mean...?! I can use this to stay in contact with you?

Well, the benefit of being quite tired of shouting myself is that I can listen if someone else decides they wish to take up the hobby.

[Ardyn frowned slightly, hand coming up to fidget with the pendant mostly hidden under his scarf.]

It seems that kind of feeling's worsening around here quite a bit lately. What is it specifically that you're thinking of?

Yes. That's generally the point of having a cellphone. You're reacting as if it's the first time you see one.

[Geez, Fukawa, it's nothing amazing. Togami barely refrains from rolling his eyes]

Of course I expect you to have it with you at all times. If I call you that means I need to talk to you immediately. I won't allow you to dawdle around, thinking it's nothing important -- because I don't intend to call you for social reasons, that's for sure.

[Besides, after what he heard about Lady Consequence intervening to stop Clarith's actions by contacting Fukawa and Arianna, he figures a way to keep him in touch in such situations could be worthwhile, even if it means giving Fukawa such a quick way to talk to him. Finding out important stuff days after they happen is not something he likes]

You better use your best judgment when deciding when to call. This is a sign of trust to some extent. Don't make me regret it.

...They're excelling at putting troublesome things in that machine lately.

Forgive me--I'm not much use at helping with matters like this. For whatever it may be worth, I don't think you some kind of murderer.

[ Choromatsu doesn't say anything. But he nearly drops all his shit. Nearly. He's just watching for the moment. ]

[Her face goes unusually dark for a moment. But then she takes a deep breath and--]

[Xander tries to figure out the weigth plates a bit longer, then gives up with a visable sigh, turning around to eye the rest fo the room. He still hasn't seen Choromatsu, but now the rest of him is in sight.

All the injuries he earned against Soma and Dracula are still there but healed- the wound on his collar/neck and the slash across his torso still pink, but not at any risk of opening, from the look of them. There's also a much older wound on his belly, as if it was torn apart at one time. But it is way more faded and stretched they any other mark.

Soon he sees something that gets his attention, and moves over to the barbells]
