There is a possibility that it's fabricated. I feel that the details are too fine to simply have all been constructed, and the fact that it glitches through to jump from one timestamp to another is suspicious. It could be as complex as using our own memories against us. The places and people we remember, to reconstruct a scene and then alter it to a point. We shouldn't necessarily discount that.
