[It's your first week here, and you've been offered a fantastic prize for killing someone: an all-expense paid vacation! It's a pretty standard prize as far as reality game shows go.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), this isn't exactly a game show.

It seems that no one has died this weekend, and the deadline for the prize is now expired. There's no announcement from the Overseers to that effect; in fact, none of you have seen either of them since Tuesday. Maybe they'll make a reappearance soon, but for now, it seems that you've got a moment of peace.

[Quite frankly, he does. Prompto always wants to be around people, even when it's tough. He stops trying to balance his pencil under his nose and smiles sheepishly.]

Aw, hey, Max! Not much. I've been trying to think of something we can do to get all of us out of here, but I've been totally blank for, like... the last half an hour.

[Which is why he's ended up doodling hobbitses all over his papers. He laughs a little and sighs.]

Well, I've never been good at coming up with ideas. How's your day going?

Fine, it's good. I'm not too good at the whole breaking out of space prison either. I feel like one of you magic fight-y people is gonna have to handle that part.

[He approaches, leaning over to look at the drawings.]

Oh shit, hobbitses.

[Well, he'll perk up to talk about that instead of their situation!]

Did I get 'em right? I've been thinking about if I want to make a character for that book game, and I definitely want to go for, like, halfling assassin.

Totally! They could wear black and sneak around with a little dagger. Hobbits are, like, known for being quiet and sneaky and stuff. Part of it's probably 'cause they don't wear shoes.

They're little, too, so I bet that makes them way easier to miss. Just come up behind someone and--doink! [He mimes stabbing someone in the back.] Like tonberries!

Definitely. They could just, like, climb up in the rafters and drop down on you. Never see it coming.

What's a tonberry?

Right, you guys don't have daemons. A tonberry is... it's little. [He holds his hand a couple feet off the ground.] They're these little hooded guys holding a lantern and a knife, and they'd be kind of cute if they weren't absolutely terrifyingly strong and also only want to kill you.

They're demons? [lol homophones] Like, uh, a goblin or something?

Yeah, goblins are one type! They're way easier to deal with, though, usually. Tonberries are the stuff of nightmares.

You have actual for-real goblins? What do they look like?

Ugly little twisted assholes. They like to steal stuff when you fight them.
