Bleaching it. Not entirely. Just... into a slightly lighter gray shade so she can add a little purple to it, resulting in something of a dark plum color.]

[From that point on you can find her wearing the colored dress. She... finally goes back to the library, but really she's just standing outside like she's not sure she wants to go in.
