[It's been five days since the Champions woke up in the space station, and three days since Bolton's first incentive. And this morning, like the day of the incentive, Bolton is not in the library for his morning office hours. Unlike the day of the incentive, there is no breakfast being served either. The space station is still open for the champions' exploration, but there's something eerie about the suspension of routine, like unfinished business hanging in the air.

The Art Room door is ajar. Maybe someone's channeling their inner art student and pulling an all-nighter...?]

[Yurika's not too happy. After rounding the others up, she looks at the knives and makes one conclusion. It's off to the kitchen, then. Anything out of order?]

Is it any particular kind of knife that's missing, or did our culprit just grab everything and stuff it down their pants?]

[There seems to be a general lack of kitchen knives. Ten are missing, if you care to count.]

Weird. That's overkill for anyone, especially someone like Eru-chan.

[Since the murder site is crowded and he's big, Margulis has come to the kitchen to both check the knives and get some food. Looks like one of those is already covered.]

That depends on which knife struck first. And, it's entirely possible the killer drove them all in in quick succession before assessing the damage. They may have even left any extras in the body on purpose to avoid being caught with knives in the morning. After alll, the kitchen would have been closed at the time of the murder.

We've got ten knives missing here, but the diagram only shows nine wounds. ["Only."] Is there any indication what happened to the tenth?

I was showering when the announcement happened. By the time I reached the site of the murder, enoug others had it well in hand that an additional investigator would gave merely crowded the room. I only got a cursory look at the scene.

So there might be another one out there unaccounted for.

[...Well, Angelica was already there. Let's look around the kitchen while she grabs an MRE.]

[There's one thing immediately out of place - a chair lying on the floor as if it were knocked over. It looks like one of the ones from the cafeteria.]

Angelica sees that, then looks back up to glance around the surrounding area. Is there anything else around that might indicate what the chair was being used for? Like cups or empty wrappers, as if someone were sitting in the kitchen and eating?]

[The chair is just sort of lying in the middle of the floor, as if someone knocked it over. Besides that, the kitchen's as clean as it is every morning - no other extra items sitting out.]

[...Okay, then. In that case, she'll crouch down and examine the chair itself more closely, just to be sure. Any blood or hair stuck to it that would indicate that it was used to hit someone?]
