serrata: (I can feel you shaking next to me)

[ Dawn is breaking over the Saint Isidore University as Yuuri makes her way through the halls, with Ruu at her side. It's quiet now, compared to the chaos before, a healing sort of quiet that settles in when the danger finally passes. As she'd hope, she finds that girl (Shino) up before the others and after an uneasy moment Yuuri is finally able to offer her thanks, on her own behalf as well as Ruu's.

"As long as you never give up, you can always move forward." she hears herself say before she does what she'd finally come here to do. Though it hurts, though it breaks her heart, she asks Shino -- would you take care of her? I can't take Ruu anywhere dangerous. So won't you be her friend?

With a soft smile, Shino takes on that responsibility. Yuuri finds herself smiling in kind. Outside, light spills over the horizon, signalling the end of a long,
long night.

When Yuuri wakes up in room 8 that morning, she doesn't really have the luxury of rolling over the new memory in her head. It's only later, at breakfast in the dining room (which is the first people will have seen of her since Friday -- scandalous) that she can really process it. She's there with the bear she'd gotten from the dumbwaiter, the one that'd been sent up and that she'd put out of her mind after the initial amusement. This was Yuki's bear, wasn't it?

So why had she been carrying it with her in that memory? Why had she been calling it "Ruu"? And why had it felt as though she was entrusting that Shino girl with so much more than a teddy bear? It's a puzzle but not one that troubles her. Not too much. At the very least, it explains why she of all people got sent this bear.

Once she's done with breakfast, Yuuri heads to the garden as usual to check on the memorials and make sure none of the offerings are going off. Once she's done, she makes her way up to the third floor to explore and see what they've been 'rewarded' with this time. All of it seems so silly and frivolous -- but maybe, just maybe, silly frivolity is exactly what they need. She spends a lot of time in the karaoke room, going through the songs on the machine with a bemused look on her face. The death orb room though? She decides after one glance that nope nope nope that's an injury waiting to happen.

In the evening, at dinner, Yuuri's doing the usual of yard sarding away whatever came up in the dumbwaiter today. If there's anything of yours, come collect it!

... the condoms are not present, though. They got shoved as far back into her closet as she could get them once she realized what they were. ]
