So Satan is Gone | Week 2 Afterparty

[Well. That was a hell of a trial, wasn't it? About half an hour after everyone returned from the trial they'll receive a note under their door. (Plus Togami gets a new handwriting sample for his book.)]

This is Kurumi. I gathered up some stuff from the diner and kitchen to the Cafeteria. Come if you want. Thought we should be together.

[It's not much. Just a pot of tea, some coffee, and some of that delicious cherry pie from the diner. Get some before it runs out.]

In the past, extinguishing the remains of my flame after its purpose is served was...someone else's job, but I suppose careful fire manipulation will have to do.

I can extinguish my own. If we do it right, it may be possible that mixing mine in will allow me to extinguish both.

If not, I have my own ways of dealing with unwanted flame.

This place also has ways to prevent their spread. By the way, thanks for using a term besides "demon" to refer to that hideous creature.

The term 'demon' is too generic, used by multiple cultures as a simple denotation for any creature mystical in origin. That thing deserved to be called precisely what he was.

It's also what the unnatural parts of me are thought to be.

You certainly don't seem like Lillith's spawn, so I'm rather disinclined to lump you in with that foul lot.

My world also worships a goddess and there exist no creatures like what all of you described him as. No outside force tempts people to do wrong, that's their own free will.

Free will is God's gift to mankind, even with temptations placed upon us, it remains our choice whether to act in selfishness or in virtue. However, the lack of the Gnosis does certainly establish you to be from a separate realm...and even besides, I've never been one to begrudge others their own beliefs so long as they don't attempt to impose upon the unwilling.

Which I wouldn't. Even the Church itself allows people to believe in and worship other powers alongside her.

It's far more interesting to learn about other cultures than attempt to impose upon them, anyway. It's actually something of a hobby of mine.

[He nods and hands over one of the thick markers from the Benefactor regains. Then he drops his own voice so only McBurn can hear.]

Just in case, deal with it in one of the more open areas. We don't want toxic fumes trapped in your room without certainty that you're immune.

No, all that remains is to throw the last of his belongings on the pile, and watch them burn.
