[After the reveal of their handsome and well-dressed but stern-looking Overseer on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the mall to their hearts' content. At around 10 pm every night the lights in all the shops will go down and the sturdy metal grates over the doors of the restaurants will go down. The stores will remain unlocked, though.

On Monday morning, a buzzing alarm chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing Xander will be holding office hours

Oh yeah. Guess she's been spending plenty of time with little Omaru. Maybe she'll finally grow a backbone.

Okay so think about it like this... when a person evaluates themselves, there are two different categories they file things in-- things they're happy with and things they aren't. But if you look at us, well, then she's all the things I'm not happy about-- and vice versa.

[Goes does that just make her a cycle of self hatred? IT SURE DOES.]

I guess, yeah, that makes sense. But hating another part of yourself like that--doesn't that get exhausting?

Well-- just because you hate something doesn't mean it'll just go away. You know? So I guess we're both stuck like this. Trust me-- if I could just cut out all the nasty parts, I would have done that a long time ago.

What "nasty parts," exactly?

You wanna be her friend-- see for yourself. It won't take you long to see it I'm sure.

Of course I want to be her friend.

[ He crosses his arms. Really, he's prepared to prove her wrong. ]

I'm sure some of the others here would disagree with you.

Boy won't she be surprised.

[Syo knows she sure is. If they liked her well that would be one thing, but-- this is the gloomy one they're talking about. Jeez.]

Well-- it should be interesting to see how that turns out. After all, this is still a mutual killing game. Huuhuuhuu...
